Eight #DancehallFlamingos have been hibernating alone for a year slowly working on their plumage. Now through the medium of social media, a flock is formed….
Join older adult dance company PC*DC for the free online screening of Dancehall Flamingos, a dance film project combining dancehall culture, social media trends, feathers and flamboyance! A joyful celebration of older age, the film subverts the loneliness experienced by many during lockdown by taking a look into the beautifully bizarre lives of eight dancers who slowly begin to stretch their wings, cock their yellow legs, dream, dance and break free.
In this flamazing finale event, you’ll get to see the Dancehall Flamingos film in full, have the opportunity to ask our #OAPInfluencer stars questions in a live chat and experience special behind-the scenes content… Think whining nanas, hot pink leotards, TikTok dance challenges and fierce, fabulous fun.
