FAQS

I am not 60 yet- can I come along?

The Posh Club is for people over 60, so if you are younger than this, why not come along and volunteer? We also welcome younger guests if they are there to support, be mates with or care for someone over 60.

Do you offer extra support for older people with higher needs?

We have some existing provision to support older people to attend The Posh Club, which ranges from one-to-one support for adults with dementia to helping with transport costs. However what we can offer varies from club to club so if you need some extra help, please contact us on info@theposhclub and we will see what we can do to help.

I would like to perform at The Posh Club, who should I contact?

The Posh Club offers opportunities for a wide range of performers and acts across our network. If you would like to work with us, please contact Simon Casson on simon@theposhclub.co.uk.

I would like to volunteer, how can I get involved?

If you would like to volunteer for us, please go to the volunteers page where you can read about the different opportunities to get involved and register to support your nearest club. If you have any further questions, please email emmy@theposhclub.co.uk

Do I have to be a member to attend The Posh Club?

You will need to register with The Posh Club before you can book a place but this is a very simple process that you can do over the phone with one of our hosts or through the website. Membership is free and does not need to be renewed.

How can I book a place?

We take all Posh Club bookings over the phone and there is a dedicated number for each club. Please click on the club that you would like to attend to find the phone number for the host of each club and they will be able to register you over the phone and book you a place.

Can I refer clients from my NHS, social or community service to The Posh Club

If you would like to refer patients or clients from a local service do us, do please get in touch with emmy@theposhclub.co.uk who will be able to give you more information about how you can join our community partner networks.

What should I wear?

We encourage all our guests to be as posh as possible so that they feel a million dollars whilst they are with us – but this is just for fun and we would never turn anyone away. If you are worried about what to wear or need help putting an outfit together, do please contact us and we can provide some bling!

Can I come on my own?

Yes! The Posh Club extends a particularly warm welcome to those attending on their own and will ensure that you are supported to feel comfortable and included at all times.

I have dietary requirements – can you accommodate these?

Yes, please speak to the host of your local club if you need to book a gluten or diary free meal, or have other specifications.

Do you provide transport?

The Posh Club does not provide transport but we do work hard to make sure that the clubs are as close to public transport as possible. If you would like to come and this is a problem for you, please do contact the host of your local club and we will see if we can help.
